Inheritance

My mother was an artist who recently passed. Through her will I will inherit several of her paintings with the copyrights. Can I post copies of her artwork on my own FAA website? Or would it only be pieces that both of us worked on that I can post?

Technically if she's not alive she can't exactly complain, and since your family, you won't sue yourself. Just make sure its hers and not something she got from someone else. I doubt anyone would know its isn't yours. The copyright holder is the one that usually complains.

Yes, and you can put her name as the artist if you prefer. In the upload/edit page, top left, change the artists name for that painting

Sorry for your loss.

You can make a Collection of your moms artwork and you can write something about each piece in the descriptions.

I'm sorry for your loss.

Hanne Lore Koehler sells her father's work on her FAA website. She has a collection called the Otto Werner Gallery. Here's a link to her FAA page if you'd like to see it... https://fineartamerica.com/profiles/hanne-lore-koehler
