While I'm not new to using YT to promote my art, I am recently trying to use it more regularly and doing more behind the scenes videos so I'm learning and trying to grow my YT Channel.

To get this thread started, I'm sharing one of my recent videos done by phone of a sunset I captured at Gulf Breeze, Florida: https://youtu.be/PltYQ5tzzRA

I created this video as part of my exhibit project grant proposal — Self-Similarity — in which I demonstrated various methods in creating the multimedia art I would present in my exhibit.

Thanks to the Manitoba Arts Council for their generous support.

https://Self Similarity Documentary Art Process Sept. 2011

As my project proposal met with success, I created this video detailing the digital prints component of my exhibit.

https//:Self-Similarity Exhibition Art Video

The completed exhibition details can be viewed here: https://Self-Similarity, Portage & District Arts Centre, Manitoba, Canada, Sept.7- Oct.29, 2011

There's are several image views of the gallery, where you can see my video projected on the feature wall — along with my digital prints, traditional paintings, & art glass designs.

Well, last year, I think, I put together some short videos using a free trial of a program.

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFts-h9wu79hXU6L9m4fwcg

I forgot what program I used because, in my financial situation, I couldn't pay for the full version.

I started my channel by playing with some AI images from FAA, at the time when I got enthusiastic about this feature, ha, ha... :)

I would like however to restart my channel, but I need some advice about what program to use that's not expensive.

* Actually, everything is expensive for me now, but maybe... Hmm :) Are there any free options???

Actually, I'll have to watch everybody's creations to get a general idea first :)

Thank you for this thread, Jennifer!

This YouTube video presents some of my sculptural forms constructed from found coral fragments
that has been stacked and balanced. All of these works were created on the Caribbean island of Bonaire.
It is one of the three islands collectively known as the "ABC Islands": Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao located
in the southern Caribbean Sea off the north coast of Venezuela.

The coral pieces were found and picked within a hundred foot radius and chosen for their sculptural potential.
Many stood for three weeks, others a day or more. Wind, waves and birds were the culprits that brought some of them down..
All the pieces were eventually disassembled and returned the the shore line to continue their natural process.

Youtube also allows us to upload "shorts" which are short vertical videos usually shot from a smart phone. They don't have an embed code like the horizontal ideas do, so we can only copy and paste the links to share.
